A leading construction firm in Singapore seeks an experienced professional to manage all statutory submissions and approvals for CSA and MEP works. Responsibilities include coordinating with various authorities, tracking submissions, and ensuring compliance with site requirements. Candidates should hold a relevant degree and possess at least 6 years of experience in Singapore's construction projects, with proven authority handling skills. Fluency in Mandarin is required for effective coordination with colleagues.
Location: Woodlands
Working Hours: 5.5 days (8am to 5:30pm)
Lead and manage all statutory submissions and approvals for CSA and MEP works
Handle submissions, coordination, and follow-up with BCA, SCDF, NEA, PUB, LTA, URA / JTC / other authorities as required
Track authority comments, resubmissions, approvals, and conditions
Coordinate with CSA site engineers and MEP engineers, Construction managers and site supervisors, Architects, C&S, and MEP consultants, Subcontractors and specialist contractors
Review CSA and MEP drawings, method statements, and proposals for authority compliance before submission
Ensure CSA–MEP interfaces meet authority and site requirement
Prepare and manage authority approval schedules aligned with project programme
Identify approval risks impacting CSA or MEP works and propose mitigation measures
Advise PM and site team on construction sequencing affected by approvals
Coordinate TOP, CSC, FSC, and final authority clearances
Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Building, or related construction discipline
Minimum 6 years experience in Singapore construction projects
Proven experience handling CSA and/or MEP authority submissions
Direct dealing experience with BCA, SCDF, NEA, PUB
Experience supporting approvals during live construction works
Comfortable acting as authority interface for CSA and MEP matters
Strong understanding of Singapore authority requirements
Familiar with CORENET X
Good coordination, communication, and follow-up skills
Able to manage multiple submissions under tight site timelines
Able to commit extended hours when needed
Able to speak Mandarin and communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking colleagues (for work coordination purposes).
