  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Project Managers within respective applications, ensuring effective project execution, the professional development of team members, and overseeing high-priority programs by monitoring progress, budgets, and risks to ensure successful outcomes, while addressing interdependencies across projects and assisting IT leadership in developing annual work and resource plans.
  • Oversee the IT budget management of respective teams, provide status reporting to management regarding project milestones, deliverables, and dependencies, communicate with leadership and relevant project stakeholders, manage a portfolio of complex initiatives across multiple lines of business, and ensure alignment with and support for strategic objectives.
  • Establish and maintain program governance frameworks to ensure clarity in roles, responsibilities, and decision-making processes, deliver appropriate and effective executive-level communication, and continuously manage stakeholder expectations through governance processes.
  • Collaborate with IT partners to identify and support technology-driven innovation initiatives, and work closely with stakeholders to facilitate the deployment, testing, and validation of Minimum Viable Product.
  • Understand the interdependencies between technology and business needs, and monitor, track, and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables.
  • Stay current with emerging technology trends and engage vendors to assess the suitability of new solutions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, with over 15 years of experience, ideally within the Banking and Finance industry and Technology environments, including at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Extensive experience in system development, including the creation of functional and technical specifications and hands‑on involvement in system development.
  • Deep understanding of and practical experience in the full software development lifecycle, with expertise in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Highly effective in communicating complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders while maintaining proficiency in engaging with technical teams.

Strong problem‑solving, analytical, systems thinking, and solution design capabilities.

Exceptional negotiation skills and experience in managing vendor relationships and project execution.

Experience in vendor product management is a significant advantage.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.

Proven track record in end‑to‑end project management in a lead role.

Excellent executive‑level communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively both in written and verbal formats.
