Job Description

You will be part of a supportive team and management to achieve your responsibilities as a senior infant educarer. Your experience, knowledge and expertise will be highly valued in the implementation of centre programs, initiatives, and events.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the team of Infant Educarers in curriculum planning and execution of engaging activities in a Respectful, Responsive and Reciprocal manner in the Infant Bay of up to 25 infants or more.
• Create a nurturing environment that is safe, joyful and conducive for learning as well as ensure the delivery of age-appropriate activities and lessons.
• Lead in planning of centre events as well as parent and community initiatives.
• Carry out induction of SOP with new Infant Teachers.
• Provide timely routine care to meet the needs of the infants.
• Assist in planning the weekly roster schedule and checking of the Teacher’s lesson plans and Weekly Activity Plan.
• Ensure that proper and efficient communication with parents is upheld within the team.

Requirements

• Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY) – EY2
• At least 3 years of full-time experience working in the Infant Bay.
• Prior experience in working with a big group of infants (20 or more) will be an added advantage.
• Good communication, multitasking and interpersonal skills
• Have a strong understanding of the EYDF framework and the relevant SOPs in the infant setting.
• A team player with passion and interest in caring for infants and toddlers
