Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive Senior HR Executive / Assistant HR Manager to manage the full spectrum of Human Resources. The successful candidate will act as a subject matter expert in HR operations, ensuring seamless payroll delivery, statutory compliance, and a positive employee lifecycle experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Payroll & Benefits Management
- End-to-End Payroll: Lead the monthly payroll processing, ensuring 100% accurate and compliance with CPF and IRAS requirements.
- Compensation & Benefits: Manage the day-to-day administration of compensation and benefits, including medical claims, insurance renewals and leave management.
2. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Recruitment: Lead the recruitment process, sourcing talent and coordinating interviews.
- Employee Lifecycle: Facilitate comprehensive induction programs for new hires and conduct insightful exit interviews to identify areas for organizational improvement.
3. HR Operations & Compliance
- Foreign Manpower: Manage the full cycle of work pass applications, renewals and cancellations, including coordination of medical check up and housing requirements.
- Policy Development: Regularly review and update the Employee Handbook, HR Policies, procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance with statutory regulations and alignment with internal practices. Provide recommendations for policy enhancements where required.
- Data Integrity: Maintain accurate digital and physical personnel records, ensuring strict confidentiality and PDPA compliance.
4. Staff Development & Performance
- Training & Development: Coordinate employee training programs, liaise with external training providers, maintain training records and support competency-building initiatives across the organization.
- Performance Management: Facilitate the annual performance appraisal process and support managers in coaching & evaluation efforts.
5. Visa Applications
- Manage visa application process for foreign employees, ensuring compliance with immigration regulations.
- Liaise with government agencies and legal advisors regarding visa and work permit issues.
Job Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Human Resource or Equivalent
- At least 5 years of experience in full spectrum of HR functions
- Experience in using Info-Tech will be a plus
- Well versed in MOM employment laws and practices
- A strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to communicate effectively with staff at all levels, including liaising with overseas colleagues.
- Dynamic, confident, and professional in handling confidential matters, with a proactive, meticulous, and dependable approach and the ability to work independently.
- Singaporean/PR is preferred.
- Experience in oil & gas/marine industry will be a plus.
