Job summary

A prominent development firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced HR professional to manage recruitment, payroll processing, and employee engagement activities. The ideal candidate will possess a diploma or degree in Human Resource Management and have 2–4 years of HR experience, ideally in construction or heavy industries. Responsibilities include sourcing candidates, maintaining employee records, organizing training programs, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Qualifications

  • 2–4 years in HR, preferably in construction, pre-cast, or heavy industries.
  • Strong understanding of Singapore Employment Act and MOM regulations.
  • Able to handle site HR matters independently.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in sourcing, shortlisting, and interviewing candidates for positions.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, timesheets, and leave records.
  • Coordinate WSQ courses, safety training, and skills development.
  • Support monthly payroll processing and administer employee benefits.
  • Organize staff engagement activities and support foreign workers.

Job description
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Assist in sourcing, shortlisting, and interviewing candidates for site and office positions
  • Coordinate onboarding processes including contract issuance, orientation, and submission of statutory forms (e.g., CPF, work pass applications).
  • Maintain manpower records and monitor expiry of permits and passes.
2. HR Operations
  • Maintain accurate employee records, timesheets, and leave records.
  • Ensure compliance with MOM regulations, WICA, and workplace safety standards.
  • Handle disciplinary matters and grievances in coordination with supervisors and management.
3. Training & Development
  • Coordinate WSQ courses, safety training and other skills development programmes.
  • Maintain training records and ensure mandatory certifications are up to date.
4. Payroll & Benefits
  • Support monthly payroll processing by providing attendance and OT data.
  • Administer employee benefits such as medical claims, insurance, and allowances.
  • Manage leave administration using HRIS or manual systems.
5. Employee Engagement & Welfare
  • Organize staff engagement activities, welfare programs, and festive events.
  • Support foreign workers in accommodation, renewals, and transport coordination.
6. Any other duties
  • Any other administrative duties assigned by Head of HR
Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Human Resource Management, Business, or equivalent.
  • 2–4 years in HR, preferably in construction, pre-cast, or heavy industries.
  • Strong understanding of Singapore Employment Act, MOM regulations
