A reputable local jewellery company in Singapore is looking for a Goldsmith, Silversmith & Jewel Technician to prepare customized jewellery and assist in customer service. The ideal candidate must have over 10 years of experience in gold jewellery preparation and sales, including expertise in gold appraisal and jewellery machinery operation. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment and attendance during public holidays is expected.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare gold jewellery as per customer’s order.

Abiraame Popular Jewellers (S) Pte Ltd, is a trusted shopping destination for Diamond, Gold and Silver jewellery by many in Singapore. We are reputed organization in Little India, serving Singaporeans for more than a decade. We do follow fair practice in recruiting staffs for our firm. We do have one showroom in 85, Serangoon Road and workshop in 29, Upper Dickson Road.

We are young and growing company and hence, we are looking for people who are versatile in their work. Currently we are looking for GOLDSMITH, SILVERSMITH & JEWEL TECHNICIAN for our firm to take prepare customized jewellery. He / She plays a crucial role in preparing customized order given by customer.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for preparing gold jewellery as per customer’s order.
2. Responsible for repair work of gold / silver jewellery.
3. During absence of sales staffs, need to go to showroom and to attend the customer’s enquiries.
4. Should be energetic & ebullient.
5. Assist in any ad-hoc duties assigned.
6. Additional projects or duties as mandated by Management.
7. Need to have hands‑on experience in operating a basic jewellery machine.

Requirements:

1. Minimum ‘O’ Level to Bachelor degree or equivalent.
2. Must have at least 10 years of jewellery sales experience.
3. Must have at least 10 years of experience in gold jewellery preparation.
4. Should be an expert in Gold appraisal. Should have experience in operating jewellery machines.
5. They must be expert in preparing gold jewellery, which suits local market.
6. Should be able to work in public holidays too, as there will be more customer visit on public holidays.
7. Should be able to work in Fast Moving Environment and should be adept in multi‑tasking.
