Job description

Senior Fire Safety Manager

Working Days: 5 or 5.5 days | 8.00am to 5.00pm, 8.30am to 5.30pm, or 8.30am to 6.00pm

Location: Office Tanjong Pagar area | Working location: Islandwide

Salary: $4000 to $4500

Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute the Emergency Response Plan for the premises and distribute it to occupants.
• Conduct daily visit checks and inspections to remove or eliminate any fire hazards.
• Ensure the fire safety requirements contained in the Emergency Response Plan are complied with.
• Conduct in-house fire drills for occupants at least once a month or as directed by the Commissioner or SCDF.
• Conduct at least 2 table‑top exercises each year, evaluate the Emergency Response Plan, record meeting minutes, and provide feedback for improvement.
• Train, coordinate, and supervise the Company Emergency Response Team in first aid, firefighting, and evacuation.
• Train occupants in first aid (incomplete details).
• Advise and recommend fire‑fighting equipment for the Company Emergency Response Team.
• Supervise operations with the Fire Command Centre during emergencies.
• Prepare and implement an Arson Prevention Plan.
• Prepare fire safety guidebooks for occupants.
• Carry out fire risk assessments and recommend improvements.
• Endorse annual Fire Certificate renewal with PE Endorsement.
• Assist & support relevant departments and perform any other ad‑hoc duties as assigned.
