Job summary

Roles & Responsibilities

The Law Society of Singapore is seeking a passionate and proactive Executive Officer/Senior Executive Officer to join their Learning and Development Department. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the professional growth of our members through the development and management of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities.

Key Responsibilities
Operations and Programme Support
  • Organise CPD activities to support the professional development of members
  • Manage e-learning programmes and the Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure accessibility, functionality, and relevance for members, including user management, content updates, troubleshooting, and performance evaluation with recommendations for improvement
  • Assist in the on‑site/virtual management of events, ensuring smooth delivery and quality control
  • Coordinate logistics, including venue arrangements, technology setup, and participant registration
  • Support marketing initiatives for programmes, including creating promotional materials and simple video editing using Canva
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation and databases for programmes, including budget planning, tracking and procurement processes
  • Prepare reports and statistics, including financial reports with basic analysis, to support decision‑making and programme evaluation
  • Collate and summarise programme feedback to provide actionable insights for continuous improvement
  • Reply to queries from members and public on programme and accreditation matters
  • Ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures in all operational activities
  • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned
Requirements
  • Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in professional development training, project and event management or related fields
  • Resilient, detail‑oriented, problem solver, and a proactive team player with a cheerful disposition who enjoys interacting with people
  • Able to multi‑task and independently accomplish assignments within lean timelines
  • Able to work confidently with members of the Judiciary and legal community
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Passionate about lifelong learning
