Job summary

What you will be working on:
  1. Collection management: Support systematic collection, documentation, and digitisation of sport heritage materials to maintain comprehensive databases and records of heritage collections.
  2. Research and content development: Support research activities and content development that underpin sport heritage initiatives to ensure programmes are grounded in solid research with accurate, compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
  3. Project management: Coordinate sport heritage programmes, exhibitions, outreach activities, and organise sport heritage-related events.
  4. Stakeholder engagement and partnership management: Work with stakeholders and partners to build collaborative relationships that support sport heritage initiatives.
  5. Administrative support: Coordinate and manage administrative duties related to sport heritage workplan. For example, Sea Sports Project (AD).

  • 3 years of working experience especially in the education or social wellness sectors would be an advantage.

  • Ability to articulate well in conversation; analytical and reflective in communication.
  • Possesses a passion for sport and the history of sport in particular.
  • High energy levels.

  • Affable and agreeable qualities. Patient and purposeful in a team setting.
  • Related Diploma or Degree with relevant work experience.
  • Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills.
  • Resourceful and able to work both independently and as a member of a team.
  • Proficient computer skills (standard software applications such as MS Office, email communications and internet research).
  • Self‑motivated individuals who value integrity, teamwork and take pride in going the extra mile to provide excellent service to stakeholders and the community.
  • A sport advocate through living an active lifestyle and staying active.
