Job summary

A well-established engineering firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead switchboard and panel design projects. Responsibilities include supervising staff, checking design drawings, and coordinating with clients. Ideal candidates should have a diploma or degree in Electrical or Marine Engineering, along with relevant experience in DC-grid systems or VFD control. The position offers a salary range of $4,500 to $6,500 plus bonuses.

Qualifications

  • Diploma and/or Degree in Electrical Engineering or Marine Engineering or equivalent.
  • Further knowledge or experience in DC-grid power systems is an advantage.
  • Experience with VFD Control and Hybrid ship energy management is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, guide, and supervise subordinates on project results.
  • Check and approve design drawings produced by subordinate staff.
  • Prepare approval, shop drawings, and calculations for submission.
  • Coordinate with clients on technical requirements and attend discussions.
