The Job

• Lead and progress electrical designs in line with the approved checklist, preparing complete tender packages with detailed specifications and drawings.
• Evaluate and approve technical submittals to ensure full compliance with client requirements and industry standards.
• Manage tendering processes and prepare accurate cost estimates for electrical works prior to project award.
• Provide the System Supervisor with updated drawings, specifications, and approved technical changes, ensuring clarity on scope and contractual revisions.
• Approve test packs and oversee construction activities to meet commissioning and handover criteria.
• Stay current with engineering practices and ensure all designs adhere to local codes and project-specific standards.

The Talent

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years’ electrical design experience in building services or industrial projects.
• Proven ability to manage the full design cycle, from tender to commissioning.
• Strong grasp of core electrical design concepts, including: Lighting design, Cable sizing and calculations, Short-circuit calculations
• Familiarity with local electrical codes and standards for design implementation.
