Job summary

An engineering consultancy firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced engineer to lead the preparation of design reports and manage project coordination. Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation of detailed design reports, calculations, and drawings.
• Prepare and submit documentation to relevant statutory agencies and authorities.
• Coordinate and integrate design deliverables across multiple disciplines.
• Lead the preparation of tender documents and participate in tender evaluations.
• Manage design processes, project coordination, and control over schedules and deliverables.
• Mentor and train junior engineers to ensure technical growth and consistency in project quality.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized university, with eligibility for registration with the Professional Engineers Board (Singapore).
• At least 5 years of relevant design experience in engineering consultancy.
• Proven experience in structural design for building, infrastructure, geotechnical, or transportation projects, including underground, basement, elevated, tunnel, and MRT station structures.
• Strong knowledge of local design codes, standards, and authority submission procedures.
• Proficient in common structural design software.
