You will be responsible for greeting, preparing and serving beverages to guests in a friendly, efficient and professional manner. You will maintain a clean and organized restaurant, deliver exceptional customer service, and ensure compliance with all safety and legal regulations.
Responsibilities
- Greeting guests, take orders and proactively recommend menu items to enhance their experience, including upselling.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages and food.
- Confident and proficient in operating the POS system – ordering and payment.
- Keep the bar area clean and organized. Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of alcohol and bar supplies.
- Coordinate closely with the back-of-house for seamless food service and smooth bar operations.
- Provide support floor service when needed.
Requirements
- Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in bars, restaurants, hotels, clubs.
- Skilled in mixology and drink‑crafting techniques for cocktails, mocktails, wine and beer.
- Creative in developing the beverage program, pairing drink with food, and enhancing the overall dining atmosphere.
- Excellent customer engagement skills with polished and professional interaction.
- Understanding of costing and upselling strategies to maximize revenue and achieve sales targets.
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively as part of a team.
- Food Safety and Hygiene certification.
