Job summary

A leading food service company in Singapore seeks a kitchen staff member to follow recipes and maintain hygiene standards. You will play a key role in food preparation and contribute to developing new recipes. The ideal candidate should be diligent and capable of minimizing waste while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications.
  • Ensure all areas of the kitchen are clean and sanitized.
  • Process food according to hygiene and sanitation standards.
  • Operate cleaning equipment safely.
  • Create and develop new recipes and baking techniques.
  • Minimize food and supply waste.
  • Perform duties as directed by the Head.
  • Complete ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
Job description
  • Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the Company.
  • Ensure that all areas of the kitchen are clean and sanitized including kitchen equipment and utensils.
  • Ensure that all food is processed according to the corporate and government regulatory control in hygiene and sanitation standards.
  • Ensure the safe operation of all cleaning equipment and report any faulty equipment to the Head.
  • Create, test and develop new recipes and baking techniques.
  • Strictly adhere to minimize food and supply waste and theft.
  • Performs any other duties as directed by the Head.
  • Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned from time to time.
