Job description

*** This is a full-time position offered on a 2-year employment contract, with the possibility of renewal/extension based on performance and organisational needs.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Ensure smooth running of dept services by providing administrative and clerical support.
  2. Liaise with other clinical and non-clinical depts as well as external parties in support of all GM doctors providing clinical services.
  3. Handles GM dept weekly meetings and teaching schedules.
  4. Organizes GM folders and ensure up to date info in Sharepoint.
  5. Cross covering of duties during absences, minimally one staff must be around during all office hours.
  6. Supporting other miscellaneous duties as guided by HOD e.g. supporting dept retreat, farewell lunches, GP events and mandatory MOH exercises.
  7. Managing MOHH doctors (MOPEX/HOPEX/SR/JR) including and not limited to welcome packs, IT access and issues, mandatory e-Learn completion and SMC testimonials.
  8. Collection of assessment forms for all MOHH doctors to support end of posting appraisals according to MOHH timeline.
  9. Approval of claims for all MOHH doctors as required.
  10. Managing medical reports assigned to MOHH doctors (when required).
  11. Arrange all core training for MOHH doctors as required e.g. NGEMR training, BCLS/ACLS/Patient Safety Workshop etc.
  12. Submission of CME points for all MOHH doctors.
  13. Supports dept secretaries in other duties as required.
  14. Ad hoc duties when required to support departmental activities.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
  • Higher Nitec / ‘A’ Level.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently.
