Job description
Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our Business Office team as a Senior Associate (Business Liaison Officer). Reporting to the Manager, Business Office, you will coordinate the admission and transfer of patients into our hospitals, ensuring that the process is timely, smooth, and efficient. Your responsibilities include conducting financial counselling and admission briefings for patients and their families, ensuring they are well-informed and supported throughout their hospital experience.

You will be dedicated to ensuring that all interactions with patients and their families are attended to promptly, courteously, and with care. You will ensure that all patients have adequate deposits and/or Medisave funds and assist those who require financial assistance in applying for Medifund. You will address enquiries related to admissions and billing matters, as well as the collection of payments.

Additionally, you will assist in development projects to roll out new services and initiatives, as well as enhancements to our systems and processes. You will collate data for reporting and analysis.

Your efforts will directly contribute to creating a welcoming and supportive environment for our patients and their families, making a meaningful difference in their hospital experience.

Qualifications
  • A Diploma holder or GCE N / O / A / NITEC / Higher NITEC with 4 years of working experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • A collaborative team player
  • Resourceful, self-motivated, and capable of multitasking
  • Comfortable working with numbers, details, and reporting duties
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Genuine interest in customer service and a passion for serving patients and guests
  • Proficient in intermediate Excel skills
  • This position requires working half a Saturday on a rotational basis
