Senior Assistant Manager, Scholarships and Sponsorships

Reporting to the Resourcing Centre of Excellence (CoE) Lead, the Senior Assistant Manager, Scholarships and Sponsorships will be instrumental in shaping and executing the cluster-level strategy for managing healthcare scholarships and pre-service sponsorship programmes at NUHS. This role combines strategic oversight with operational execution, aimed at attracting, engaging, and developing a future-ready healthcare workforce.

  • Develop and execute outreach strategies to increase take-up rates of pre-service sponsorships, collaborating with institutional HR to ensure a smooth and positive on-site interviews and on-boarding experience for candidates.
  • Drive the development and refinement of NUHS’ cluster-wide sponsorship strategy, aligned with workforce planning needs as well as ensuring adherence to sponsorship guidelines.
  • Manage publicity efforts related to the BrightSparks platform and oversee MOHH funding charge-out processes, serving as the key liaison between MOHH and institutions for all scholarship and sponsorship-related matters including coordination and tracking of Career Conversion Programmes (CCP) and Return to Nursing (RTN) initiatives.
