A leading materials company based in Singapore is looking for a Finance professional to manage full accounts, oversee compliance, and support the finance team. The candidate should have 4–6 years of experience in accounting, with a strong understanding of Singaporean GST and statutory requirements. Yuxiang Building Materials Pte. Ltd. is a Singapore-based steel reinforcement fabrication company specialising in cut & bend services and prefabricated reinforcement solutions for construction and infrastructure projects. We support major contractors and developments with a focus on quality, safety, operational efficiency, and timely delivery. To support the Finance function by overseeing key accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial records, timely closing, and compliance with GST and statutory requirements.
Manage full set of accounts and oversee the entire range of manufacturing functions, preparing monthly audit schedules, management reporting and ensure timely month-end and year end financial closing.
Oversee all financial operations, AR, AP & GL processes including monitor cash flows and projections.
Oversee quarterly GST submission and timely tax filing to ensure compliance.
Perform accounting for inventory management, including valuation methods, and reconciliation processes, ensuring accurate tracking of raw materials, WIP and finished goods.
Support Finance Manager in developing and enforce financial internal control policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
Experience in system implementation and recommend process improvements.
Experience in managing banking facilities, such as AR financing and performing trust receipt.
Manage external audit processes, ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal control policies.
Lead and support the finance team junior staffs in executing day-to-day financial operations.
Work closely and support cross-functional team coordination and alignment on finance processes.
Review on employees' reimbursement claims.
Diploma/Degree in Accountancy/Finance or equivalent (ACCA/ISCA partial qualification is an advantage).
4–6 years of accounting experience (full set preferred). Good working knowledge of Singapore GST and statutory requirements. ERP/accounting system proficiency required.
