Job Description & Requirements

This role is for a Scrum Master/ IT ProjectManager with experience in managing and running Agile projects / squads. ThisResource is responsible for the end-to-end project delivery based on committedscope, time and budget of a project.

Candidates possess understanding acrosswealth management and private banking, exposed to innovation &transformation trends in the industry and are experienced in agile ways ofworking and engagement of stakeholders across departments and geographies.

Responsibilities
  • Analysing and detailing the project idea, assessing the projectidea in terms of feasibility, cost-effective-ness, risks and successfactors in consultation with Business and IT stakeholder.
  • Develop the project proposal with objectives, resources,milestones, schedule, costs, expenses and project structure.
  • Drive project proposal through demand governance process.
  • Set up appropriate project management processes, measureproject performance and report status to senior stakeholders.
  • Initiate escalations to senior stakeholders if needed.
  • Develop detailed project plan and create work break downstructure (subprojects, work packages, etc).
  • Set up an appropriate project organization, includingidentification and management of stakeholders and team members.
  • Run the Agile ceremonies (PI planning, Sprint Planning,Retrospective etc.).
  • Actively lead the team/squad in various project meetings i.e.SIT / UAT checkpoint calls, BRD walkthroughs, Solution Walkthroughs.
  • Manage scope, time, budget, risks and issues on an operationallevel.
  • Identify the impact of change requests, issues and changes tounderlying assumptions; for project plan variances, develop solutionproposals and reconcile them with the demand governance stakeholders.
  • Manage roll-out / go-live and for the hand-over of the solutionto the Operations organizations.
  • Establish and implement project-related quality assuranceprocesses and measures; ensure the quality of the outcomes and drive theirrespective acceptance and approval.
  • Work with cross functional teams to conceptualize the journeys,design & prioritize features.
  • Able to process information quickly, break complex matters downto their core – running independently, and don’t give up easily.
  • To present in front of senior leadership & cross functionalstakeholders to get required decisions.
Stakeholder Management
  • Represent as an ITPL/ Scrum Master when facing off withinternal and external stakeholders.
  • Work with team members to proactively mitigate risk and provideclear communication plan in a timely manner.
  • Present to stakeholders on progress as well as problems andsolutions.
  • Communicate key insights and findings to IT and businesscounterparts and work closely with them.
  • Lead knowledge sharing for newly implemented modules orfunctionalities.
Regulatory Responsibilities &/ORRisk Management
  • Demonstration of appropriate values and behaviours includingbut not limited to standards on honesty and integrity, due care anddiligence, fair dealing (treating customers fairly), management ofconflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, adequaterisk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

  • Collaborate with legal & compliance teams to assessregulatory considerations of digital solutions.
  • Demonstrate appropriate values and behaviours including butlimited to standards on honesty and integrity, due care and diligence,fair dealing (treating customers fairly), management of conflicts ofinterest, competence and continuous development, adequate risk management,and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Skills Requirement
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology/Engineering or related field.
  • 7-10 years of IT experience in Project Management &Business Analyst in running Hybrid / Agile projects.
  • Experience in running Agile projects.
  • Proven experience in successful delivery of major projects, ontime and with quality and within matrix team structures.
  • Experience in Senior stakeholder management running projectsSTCs.
  • Experience in managing project financials (forecast v actual).
  • Good understanding of technology trends in banking ispreferred.
  • Working experience of SDLC and Agile methodology.
  • Domain expertise across Wealth Management or Private Bankingfunctional domain would be preferred.
  • Familiar with client needs in wealth management and privatebanking. Good understanding of business processes, process design, andprocess re-engineering. Especially in the areas of online trading acrossasset classes & digital channels.
  • Experience with product discovery and delivery concepts onunderstanding user needs, identify opportunities and demonstratesuccessful, impactful delivery.
  • Knowledge of agile methodology and experience of partneringwith research, design, change and technology in design thinking and agileframework.
  • Demonstrated capability for problem solving and decisionmaking. Track record of prioritizing and making trade-offs by objectivelyevaluating opportunities vs potential pitfalls.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to challengebusiness/technical requirements to build good and scalable solutions.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills includingtechnical writing skills.
  • Self-driven, highly motivated, hardworking and agile enough towork both independently and as a team player.
  • Experience defining a vision and strategy for a digitalsolution, product or service and have successfully managed the fullproduct lifecycle from idea-stage to scaling, including integration ofuser feedback into product requirements and driving prioritization.
