Sales, Senior Executive / Executive

The Senior Executive / Executive Inside Sales is responsible for driving sales growth through proactive customer engagement, quotations, and account management. This role will focus on maximizing sales opportunities within existing accounts, developing new business leads and cold calls, and ensuring smooth order execution in coordination with the operations team.

Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Generation & Business Development
  • Proactively follow up on leads, enquiries, and quotations to secure sales.
  • Manage house accounts as well as local and overseas distributor networks.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts for PPE products and servicing.
  • Conduct cold calls and email campaigns to develop new customer leads.
  • Support tender submissions, pricing strategies, and contract renewals.
2. Customer Relationship Management
  • Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries related to PPE products.
  • Provide technical and product knowledge to recommend suitable PPE solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Collect customer feedback and relay market insights to the wider sales team.
3. Quotation & Order Management
  • Prepare accurate, timely quotations in compliance with pricing structures.
  • Negotiate within approved guidelines to close deals effectively.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to confirm stock availability and delivery timelines.
4. Market & Sales Intelligence
  • Understand customer needs and monitor competitor activities, pricing, and PPE product trends.
  • Share market intelligence with the sales team to support strategic planning.
5. Reporting & Collaboration
  • Provide weekly updates on sales pipelines, quotation status, and forecasts.
  • Work closely with field sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution.
  • Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and product workshops.
Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in any discipline
  • 2–3 years’ experience in inside sales or customer service; experience in PPE/industrial safety industry preferred.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Sales-driven mindset with proven ability to meet or exceed targets.
  • Proficient in MS Office; experience with ERP/CRM systems is an advantage.
  • Team player with initiative, resilience, and customer-first attitude.
