About the Role
BZERO Technologies is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to grow our IoT, Automation, Smart Building, and Energy Management solutions business. This role is ideal for a results-driven, project-sales and solution-sales professional who enjoys owning deals end-to-end and is motivated by high commissions and business growth.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Drive new business development while managing and growing key accounts for IoT, Automation, Smart Building, and Energy Management projects.
- Own the full sales cycle from lead generation, client engagement, proposal development, negotiation, to deal closure.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, ensuring healthy forecasting and consistent revenue growth.
- Meet and exceed assigned sales targets and revenue objectives.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and solution discussions to understand customer needs and propose tailored solutions.
- Lead technical-commercial proposals in close collaboration with internal engineering and project teams.
- Coordinate closely with project teams to ensure smooth project handover, execution, and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and partners.
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to support business growth strategy.
- Provide regular updates to management on sales activities, pipeline status, forecasts, and achievements.
- Undertake assigned ad hoc duties as directed by management.
Requirements
Education and Qualification Requirements
- Degree / Diploma in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Automation / Building Services or related disciplines).
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in solution-based or project sales within IoT, Automation, BMS, EMS, System Integration, or Smart Building industries.
- Proven experience selling projects and solutions, not just off-the-shelf products.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements
- Good understanding of building automation, lighting controls, ACMV integrations, IoT, and basic IT / networking concepts.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability for sales outcomes.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-motivated, independent, and target-driven, with the ability to manage multiple deals concurrently.
- Comfortable with sales reporting, CRM usage, and pipeline management.
- Positive, joyful, and collaborative team player who contributes to a cohesive working environment.
- Helpful and service-oriented mindset when working with clients and internal teams.
- Open-minded and adaptable, with the ability to think openly and approach challenges with flexibility.
- Willingness to learn, continuously improve, and stay current with evolving technologies and market trends.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct in all business dealings.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- Experience dealing with developers, consultants, main contractors, or building owners.
- Exposure to energy-saving, sustainability, or green building projects is a plus.
- Prior regional sales exposure is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel regionally
