Job summary

A semiconductor technology firm in Singapore is looking for a business development executive to identify and develop new opportunities. You will work closely with semiconductor manufacturers and need a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering along with 2-5 years of B2B technical sales experience. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with semiconductor manufacturers FABs and Foundries and OSATs (Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test), and R&D institutions.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to refine sales approaches.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and engineers at customer sites.
  • Provide timely and effective customer support and follow-up on inquiries, quotations, and order fulfilment.
  • Conduct regular client visits, product presentations, and technical discussions.
  • Understand the technical specifications and applications of equipment and materials being sold.
  • Work closely with application engineers and suppliers to tailor solutions to customer requirements.
  • Coordinate equipment evaluations, trials, and demonstrations.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to management.
  • Liaise with global equipment and material suppliers to ensure alignment in sales initiatives and delivery schedules.
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as logistics, finance, and service to ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Materials Science) or a related technical field.
  • 2-5 years of experiences in B2B technical sales in the semiconductor or electronics manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and related equipment/materials.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to to travel frequently to client sites in Singapore & Malaysia regions.
