As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible to handling and expanding the company’s key accounts. You will manage customer relations and provide pragmatic solutions to drive revenue within the accounts under your care.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities within the industry, including prospecting, pitching, and closing deals
- Market Analysis: Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategic decision‑making
- Sales and Marketing: Developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue targets
- Negotiate contracts and agreements: Work with suppliers, vendors, and customers to secure favourable sales, pricing, and delivery terms
- Build and maintain relationships: Establish and foster strategic partnership with key industry players, business partners, clients and vendors
- Financial Management: Manage commercial budgets, forecasts, and performance, ensuring profitability
- Operations: Collaborate with other departments, such as Production & Logistics, to ensure smooth execution of commercial plans
- Analytical & Problem‑Solving: Able to examine data, identify patterns, draw conclusions, and implement effective course of action
- Communication and Collaboration: Possess the interpersonal skills to communicate ideas, collaborate with others, and thrive in a team environment
- Outcome‑driven: Attention to desired goals, such as improved customer satisfaction, increased sales, or enhanced operational efficiency
Education & experience
- Degree/Diploma in Business, Marketing, Commerce or related field
- 2 years related experience in commodity sales and/or trading
