Job summary

A scientific instrumentation company in Singapore is seeking a sales professional to manage and grow existing accounts. Responsibilities include strategizing to increase market share, collaborating for technical support, and preparing sales forecasts. Ideal candidates have a degree in Science and experience with analytical instruments. Attributes like good communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential. A Class 3 driving license is preferred, and willingness to travel is required.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and grow existing accounts
  • Strategize plans to increase market share and revenue
  • Gather market information from all channels to help improve sales
  • Collaborate with internal staff for technical sales support
  • Maintain good rapport with customers, principals and vendors
  • Responsible for pre-sales activities includes demonstration, evaluation / analysis of customer samples
  • Submit sales forecast to management and prepare sales reports
Requirements:
  • Degree or Diploma in Science or equivalent, major in Chemistry, Chemical Science or Chemical Engineering
  • Working experience in a related field is an added advantage
  • Experience in analytical instruments is an added advantage
  • Good interpersonal skills, energetic with a positive attitude, highly discipline and self-driven
  • Enthusiastic, good team player who is result-oriented and customer focused
  • Excellent analytical skills, verbal and written communication skills
  • Independent and resourceful with a high level of integrity
  • Possess Class 3 driving license and preferably own a car
  • Willing to travel overseas when required
