Job Summary

The Sales and Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding market presence within the service industry, with a strong focus on Information Technology, BFSI (Banking,Financial Services, and Insurance) clients. This role combines hands‑on sales leadership with strategic business development to build sustainable, long‑term client relationships and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Responsibilities
  • Lead end‑to‑end sales activities.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within assigned accounts and markets.
  • Develop and deliver tailored service proposals, presentations, and pricing models aligned with client needs.
  • Negotiate commercial and contractual terms.
  • Manage and grow existing client accounts.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline data, and reporting.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned revenue, margin, and growth targets.
  • Work closely with delivery, operations, and compliance teams to ensure successful service delivery.
Business Development Responsibilities
  • Identify new service offerings, market segments, and growth opportunities within the BFSI sector.
  • Build and manage strategic partnerships, alliances, and referral channels.
  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitor activities impacting clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop go‑to‑market strategies and solution positioning.
  • Support expansion into new geographies or verticals within the service industry.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, client forums, and networking engagements.
  • Provide strategic input to management on sales performance and market opportunities.
Qualifications
