Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Engineer

Assist in developing, implementing, and updating WSH policies and procedures.

Ensure alignment with current workplace safety laws, codes of practice, and standards from relevant authorities.

Collaborate with departments and EHS coordinators to plan and execute WSH initiatives.

Promote a proactive safety culture and reinforce accountability at all staff levels.

Partner with planning and engineering teams to integrate design-for-safety principles into new infrastructure and renovation projects.

Review and approve risk assessments and permit-to-work applications to ensure safety compliance.

Conduct site inspections to ensure safe practices and adherence to safety guidelines.

Maintain and regularly update the organization’s risk registry.

Lead or support investigations into workplace incidents, near-misses, or accidents.

Prepare detailed incident reports, identify root causes, and recommend preventive actions.

Follow up on corrective measures to prevent recurrence.

Support emergency preparedness efforts, including the coordination of fire, evacuation, and medical emergency drills.

What we’re looking for
  • Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Marine, Mechatronics, Power, or Facilities Management Engineering.
  • Certified and registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WHSO) – Fire Safety Manager certification is an added advantage.
