Job summary

A professional safety consultancy in Singapore is looking for a Safety Coordinator to assist the Project Manager in identifying and addressing unsafe conditions at the worksite. The successful candidate will oversee daily operations and document safety matters. Candidates must hold a WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health and have at least 3 years of relevant experience. This position is exclusively for Singaporean citizens.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Safety Coordinator in building projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager to identify unsafe conditions at the worksite.
• Help the Site Supervisor implement safety measures.
• Ensure risk assessment control measures are applied.

Assist Project Manager /Production Manager to identify any unsafe condition in the worksite or unsafe work practice in the worksite.

Assist the Site Supervisor to implement reasonably practicable measures to remedy the unsafe condition or unsafe work practice.

Ensure risk assessment control measures are implemented for all activities.

Oversee daily operation at site.

Responsible for upkeep of documentation on project/safety matters.

Requirements

• Minimum WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health.
• Minimum 3 years of Building experience as Safety Coordinator.
