Our client a leading financial services group is looking to appoint a Reward Lead (Asia) into Singapore, in a brand new role for the region. The organization is going through extensive growth, investment and transformation and as a result, it is a wonderful time to join them in the early stages of their next exciting chapter in an individual contributor capacity.

Job description

This individual will report to the Global Head Reward based in Europe and the APAC Head of HR based locally. They will sit on the APAC HR Leadership team from a HR COE perspective, and partner closely with the regional leadership team, Country HR Business Partners and Country Heads to help define the Reward function in the region from scratch, aligning the Reward strategy with regional priorities, also partnering with the International C&B function where possible to enable consistency where it makes sense.

This individual will be responsible for leading the Reward strategy and execution end to end across 10+ markets, in an individual contributor role, partnering closely with the in country teams on the execution side. More specifically, this person will be a SME on all things Reward, Compensation, Exec Comp & Benefits in the region, they will coach and advise the HR and Regional Leadership team on rewards market trends, managing executive compensation, the annual salary and bonus review process, reviewing data and providing insights to help drive decision making. You will continue to review and enhance the reward function with a focus on excellent relationship management in a high touch and global environment.

The successful candidate

This individual will have a track record operating as a Compensation & Benefits Lead (Asia / APAC). This individual will have a strong network operating in large and/or small / growing international Insurance, Broking, Fintech and / or FS boutiques. They will be comfortable operating in a lean team, in an individual contributor role, able to manage rewards end-to-end with the support of in country HR BP’s on execution. A track record also managing executive compensation would be beneficial.
