The Retail Performance Manager for the APAC Region is responsible for driving operational excellence, sales performance, and customer experience across diverse retail markets. This role requires strong cross‑cultural leadership, regional strategy alignment, and the ability to coordinate across multiple countries with varying market dynamics. The manager partners closely with Commercial, Education, Merchandising, and Marketing teams to ensure consistent execution of brand standards and achievement of commercial targets.

Key Responsibilities
Performance Management
  • Monitor and analyze store KPIs (sales, conversion, ATV, IPT, AUP, productivity, etc.) across APAC markets to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Develop and implement action plans to improve underperforming stores.
  • Lead quarterly performance reviews with Retail teams across different countries.
Operational Excellence
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards, SOPs, and operational policies across diverse retail environments.
  • Conduct regular store visits and audits throughout the APAC region to assess execution and identify areas for improvement.
  • Support new store openings and refurbishments with operational readiness plans tailored to local market needs.
Team Development & Coaching
  • Partner with Education and HR to identify training needs and support capability building across culturally diverse teams.
  • Coach Retail teams on leadership, performance management, and business acumen.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, empowerment, and continuous improvement across markets.
Strategic Planning & Execution
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align retail strategies with regional business goals.
  • Support promotional and VM execution to maximize impact and ROI across different consumer segments.
  • Contribute to annual budgeting and forecasting processes with regional insights.
Reporting & Insights
  • Prepare regular performance reports and dashboards for senior leadership.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on regional data analysis.
  • Track progress against strategic initiatives and KPIs across APAC markets.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in retail operations or performance management, preferably in a regional APAC role.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in retail metrics and reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively across APAC markets.
