Overview

The doctor will be part of the Geriatric Medicine team. He/She will provide first-line clinical coverage, handle more complex cases, and guide the junior doctors accordingly with his/her broad and deep understanding of first-line clinical services. He/She will assist in running clinics, as well as assist in carrying out procedures and/or operations as permitted by the senior doctors.

  • Provide first-line clinical coverage and support more complex cases within the Geriatric Medicine team.
  • Guide junior doctors with broad and deep understanding of first-line clinical services.
  • Assist in running clinics and in carrying out procedures and/or operations as permitted by senior doctors.
Qualifications
  • Be in active clinical practice.
  • Have a basic medical degree from an accredited medical university or medical school.
  • Recognized postgraduate qualifications (e.g. MRCP) would be an added advantage.
  • Have at least 3 years of post-housemanship working experience as a medical officer (or equivalent) in the relevant field/specialty or possess a postgraduate medical qualification in the relevant/ field/specialty.
  • Have been registered as a medical practitioner with the Singapore Medical Council.
