Responsibilities

Contract Duration

5‑year contract

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and mentor the site supervision team for all Civil, Structural, and Building Construction works, ensuring adherence to project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Provide comprehensive support to the Chief Resident Engineer and Construction Manager on all Civil & Structural site inspection matters, contract‑related issues, and proactively identify defects, overseeing and ensuring timely rectification works.
• Efficiently address and provide technical responses to all Contractor’s Requests for Information (RFIs) and critically review technical submittals.
• Assess method statements, review instrumentation readings, coordinate seamlessly with other discipline engineers, and liaise effectively with the design team and Qualified Persons (QPs) from headquarters.
• Actively participate in all site and project‑related meetings, engaging in discussions with clients and contractors, and taking the lead in technical and work progress discussions to drive project milestones.

Qualifications & Experience

• A good graduate Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering, preferably recognised by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB) Singapore.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive construction experience, with a strong focus on supervising civil and structural works, particularly within water or used water treatment facilities.
• Must be a Registered Resident Engineer (Civil) with the Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES).
• Demonstrated strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with a proactive approach to problem‑solving and team collaboration.
