Job description: The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and simulation, fabrication and characterization of nonlinear metadevices to enhance the efficiency of quantum light sources.

Responsibilities

• Design, simulate, fabricate and characterize nonlinear metadevices to improve the efficiency of quantum light sources.

Qualifications

• PhD in applied physics, optics and photonics, electrical engineering or materials science with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on experiences in nonlinear metasurfaces are needed (design and simulation, nanofabrication and characterization).
• Skills in van der Waals structures fabrication (exfoliation, transfer, twist and stacking) are advantages.
• Skills in nonlinear optics measurement (SHG and THG) and optical setup are advantages.
• Skills in optoelectronic photodetector development and measurement are advantages.
• Good team player, self-motivated, ability to carry out independent research, and persistence in solving technology challenges.
• Proven track record of high-quality scientific publications.
