A leading educational institution in Singapore seeks Research Fellows for the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. Candidates will focus on designing efficient electrochemical catalysts for CO2 conversion and guide students while establishing larger research initiatives. A PhD in relevant fields is required, and prior experience with electrocatalysis and material characterization techniques is highly regarded. Join a collaborative team to further innovative research in this field.
Research Fellow (postdoc) positions in the Department of Chemical and Bimolecular Engineering at National University of Singapore (NUS). The primary objective of this position is to foster a profound design principle towards novel, efficient and robust electrochemical catalysts and reactors for the efficient conversion of CO2/CO into multi-carbon products, i.e., ethylene, ethanol and propanol.
The research fellows are required to help in guiding young students, visiting scholars, and assisting the establishment of larger research applications and facilitating initiatives with respect to sharing and developing infrastructure for electrocatalysis research within NUS.
Applicants must hold a PhD (or other equivalent degrees) in chemical engineering, chemistry, materials science or other relevant related field.
Experience with electrocatalysis, or similar chemistries, is considered advantageous. Experience with material characterization techniques like SEM/EDS, TEM, STEM, XRD, XAS, XPS, FTIR, and Raman will also be highly considered.
As cross disciplinary work is essential for the success of this project, candidates who demonstrate experience in similar work environments will be considered positively.
