Job Summary

HR Service Jobs is seeking a meticulous and proactive Remote Payroll & Billing Support Specialist to join our Singapore-based finance and accounting team. This role is ideal for individuals with strong attention to detail and a passion for accuracy in financial processes. The successful candidate will manage payroll operations, ensure timely and accurate billing, and provide support to both internal and external stakeholders. This fully remote position offers flexibility while contributing to the efficient financial operations of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and manage employee payroll with accuracy and timeliness, adhering to local regulations and company policies.

  • Prepare, verify, and issue invoices for clients and internal departments.

  • Reconcile payroll and billing accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies.

  • Maintain confidential financial records and ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements.

  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Operations teams to support payroll, billing, and reporting processes.

  • Respond promptly to queries from employees and clients regarding payroll and billing matters.

  • Generate regular reports for management, highlighting payroll summaries, billing status, and account reconciliations.

  • Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing activities.

  • Support audits and provide necessary documentation as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Strong knowledge of payroll processing systems, accounting software, and Microsoft Excel.

  • Familiarity with Singapore payroll regulations, CPF contributions, and statutory compliance is preferred.

  • Excellent attention to detail with strong numerical and analytical skills.

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll, billing, or finance-related roles.

  • Prior experience in a remote or virtual working environment is advantageous.

  • Experience with payroll systems (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) is preferred.

Working Hours
  • Full-time, Monday to Friday.
