Job description
Purpose of Position:

The purpose of the role is to oversee and steer the Trade Marketing function on a regional level. Develops and owns the overall Trade Marketing strategy for the region. Reports to the Region Head of Marketing and acts as a member of the Regional Marketing Leadership Team.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
  • Responsible for the leadership, development and coaching of regional Trade Managers
  • Drive sustainable and profitable growth by achieving sales and profit targets across Trades through developing, implementing and steering Trade Strategies across the region
  • Responsible to orchestrate the Trade Management Process to identify and drive business opportunities and increase net sales per territory in line with the Lead 2030 strategy. Responsible to develop Application Leadership Strategy and portfolio offering across Trades in collaboration with Product Management to continuously improve the Hilti offering in context of customer needs across the region (value proposition)
  • Responsible to drive further segmentation of market reach resources to increase productive growth in all markets in alignment with Sales Directors, Head of Marketings, General Managers and the regional Territory Mgmt. Team
  • Lead and orchestrate the preparation of Trade Waves with all relevant stakeholders (Product Mgmt., Strategic Marketing, Digital, markets and Trade Managers) to systematically elevate competence of market reach teams on the Hilti offering.
  • Lead by example and play an active role to convert large business opportunities in the region.
Person Specification
  • Masters degree in Marketing or Business Management preferred
  • 10-15 years experience in Sales and Marketing
  • Leadership skills with experience in managing a marketing and/or sales team
  • Wide business experience with ability to innovate and to communicate ideas effectively
  • Persuasive credible and inspiring presentation skills
  • Experience in operating within a matrix structure
  • Full understanding of the organization strategy (vision and objective)
  • Must be prepared to travel in India, SEA and AU/NZ on regular basis (40% of the time)
