A leading healthcare firm is seeking a Greater Asia Supply Planner in Singapore to manage supply chain planning and inventory management across the region. The role involves ensuring demand is met through effective supply plans and facilitating collaboration among stakeholders. Candidates should have at least 4 years of experience in supply chain planning, proficiency in SAP and MS Excel, and a strong analytical mindset to enhance supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
The role of the Greater Asia Supply Planner is to ensure that all demand in the Greater Asia region is included in the production/supply plans from our manufacturing plants and OEMs. The Regional Supply Planner works closely with the Supply Chain Planner at country level to ensure supply status is communicated to Business leaders for decision making, and to proactively manage supply in response to uncertainty and risks. The Supply Planner will ensure that Singapore, as the representative of Greater Asia, actively participates in the decision making process related to the manufacturing process/production planning (e.g., capacity, timing of production, sourcing, etc.) at all manufacturing plants and OEMs. He/She is responsible for converting forecasted demand in the system into long- and short-term plans that act as rough-cut capacity plans for our manufacturing plants and OEMs, and will continuously optimize supply and inventory throughout the supply chain network.
Supply Management
Provide timely and qualitative supply analysis on critical items to country, including country escalations to Region as per the Engagement model, provide scenarios & recovery options to help business mitigate financial risk.
Lead the manual allocation process and work with key stakeholders to ensure business priorities are met to obtain timely decisions.
Drive system optimization and improve accuracy of supply visibility and inventory modeling.
Drive long-term solutions and accountability in driving predictable and timely supply of products to meet Greater Asia demand needs.
Participate in yearly LTP process, especially for establishment of yearly supply/production volumes.
Partner with Regional Demand Planner to drive the yearly metrics target setting for Line Fill Rate, Back-Order and Inventory at Greater Asia level.
Partner with Country Supply Chain Planner and WW Supply Planner to continuously seek improvement in managing seamless supply process, enhance communication & engagement across WW, region and country.
Supply Review (S&OP)

Prepare BO and revenue risk projection. Facilitate supply consensus and metrics review meetings (Line Fill Rate, Back-Order, Inventory).
Champion supply issues and influence Global/Manufacturing decisions regarding capacity, supply and production allocations for Greater Asia.
Analyze demand changes and work with demand planner to understand the reason, escalate risk to WWB and provide mitigation plan if any.
Analyze Greater Asia Supply Network and continuously seek improvement to drive end-to-end supply predictability.
Inventory Management
Work closely with country & worldwide affiliates to understand and establish the right stocking level, particularly on new product introductions or product discontinuation projects.
Project Regional Distribution Center monthly inventory, analyze performance & establish plans to drive metric improvement to target.
Identify Regional Distribution Center E&O, follow through on disposition and reduction opportunities. Drives root cause analysis and CI to prevent new occurrences.
Lead periodic inventory parameter renewal and ABC classification. Develop analysis and reports related to inventory scenarios. Align strategy across country & regional demand planners.
Work with WW supply planner, other SCM functions and SCM IT to identify potential opportunities & lead projects to improve inventory management, such as improving shelf life, reducing shipping discrepancy.
Key Supply Chain Operation Metrics
Accountable for achieving Regional Distribution Center targeted supply chain metrics: Line Fill Rate, Back-Order, Inventory Value and Turns.
Accountable for achieving SLA/OLA with country.
Monitors performance and recommends corrective actions and strategies as required.
Others
Ensure process executions are in compliance with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) and other regulatory requirements e.g. GPDMDS and ISO13485.
Performs any other task as assigned by managers or leaders.
Lean champion for Supply Chain.
Support CI, cost reduction or efficiency initiatives in regional Supply Planning area using Six Sigma and best practice benchmarking methodologies.
Degree in Business / Logistics / Economics
Relevant Experience
Minimum 4 years of Supply Chain Planning / Inventory Management experience
SAP, BW, APO/SCM-SNP knowledge
Proficient in MS Excel and dashboards creations
Critical thinking, insight & analysis capabilities

Understand the market, able to build scenario planning to drive supply predictability
Ability to lead supply review meetings with proficient knowledge of the 5 step S&OP process.
