Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the regional growth strategy for the Medical Polymer portfolio in alignment with global objectives.
• Partner with key suppliers and principals to drive joint business initiatives and build a sustainable, profitable medical polymers segment.
• Manage the segment budget, sales pipeline and profitability KPIs in collaboration with regional management.
• Provide regular updates to global and regional stakeholders on sales performance, project pipelines, customer activities and market trends.
• Lead supplier management, including portfolio optimization, onboarding of new suppliers and strengthening long‑term partnerships.
• Drive regional marketing initiatives and support project pipeline development together with regional sales teams.
• Support acquisition and development of new medical customers, including brand owners, OEMs/ODMs, and molders.
• Identify and monitor market trends, new materials, emerging technologies in medical devices, diagnostics, drug delivery, sustainability and sterilization.
• Act as the regional point of contact for technical and regulatory topics related to medical‑grade polymers, including compliance requirements (ISO 10993, USP Class VI, DMF, etc.).
• Represent the company at medical industry trade fairs, conferences, and supplier events regionally and internationally.

Pre‑requisites

• Degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Materials Science, Engineering, Life Sciences or Business.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in polymers, chemicals, medical devices or healthcare materials, ideally in a commercial, technical or business development role.
• Strong understanding of the medical device value chain, manufacturing processes and regulatory environment.
• Proven ability to develop new business, manage key stakeholders, and lead technical‑commercial discussions.
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across regions and functions.
