Job summary

A global technology company in Singapore seeks a Learning & Development expert to design and deliver regional training programs across APAC. The ideal candidate will have 6–8 years of experience, bilingual in English and Mandarin, and have a strong track record in training facilitation and evaluation. Job description
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Design & Deliver Training: Develop, implement, and facilitate regional training programs (leadership, functional, and soft skills) across APAC, in both English and Mandarin.
  • Regional Alignment: Work with HQ stakeholders, local HR and business leaders to identify training needs and ensure consistency of learning standards across APAC.
  • Innovation in Learning: Introduce blended learning solutions (classroom, digital, and experiential) to fit different country contexts.
  • Onboarding & Upskilling: Oversee regional onboarding programs and continuous upskilling initiatives tailored to local market needs
  • Program Evaluation: Track training effectiveness via feedback, data, and ROI metrics; adapt programs to maximise impact across diverse cultures.
  • Stay updated on learning & development trends in APAC; adapt global best practices to local contexts.
  • Able to conduct public speaking, workshops, and events for audiences ranging from small teams to regional townhalls.
  • Manage external training vendors and partners across APAC when required.
Culture & Engagement
  • Change Enablement: Support culture change programs and drive adoption of global initiatives within local markets.
  • Culture Champion: Embed Company values into learning and culture initiatives, ensuring alignment of HQ with the rest of APAC.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with senior stakeholders and leaders to conceptualise and design regional cultural programs aligned with business priorities.
  • Execution Partnership: Partner with HR and local offices to roll out regional engagements and cultural initiatives across APAC.
  • Cross-Cultural Facilitation: Bridge cultural differences across diverse APAC markets through inclusive communication and training.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to HQ stakeholders, business leaders and HR teams on training and culture strategies.
Knowledge & Competencies
  • Experience: 6–8 years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, Employee Engagement and Training, ideally with regional APAC exposure.
  • Training Expertise: Strong track record of designing, facilitating, and evaluating training programs (classroom, digital, blended learning).
  • Public Speaking & Facilitation: Confident, engaging presenter able to lead training, workshops, and townhalls for diverse audiences.
  • Bilingual Communication: Fluent in English and Mandarin, both written and spoken, to effectively deliver training across the region.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to partner with HR teams, business leaders, and cross-border stakeholders.
  • Personal Attributes: Proactive, adaptable, not afraid to try new approaches, and comfortable balancing strategic initiatives with hands‑on delivery.
