A leading quantum computing software company based in Singapore is seeking a Quantum Software Developer. The role involves developing software for Quantum Error Correction, designing APIs, and performing low-level programming. Strong knowledge of quantum mechanics and software development skills in Python are essential. Applicants should hold a Master's degree in a relevant field and be adept in remote collaboration. This opportunity offers the chance to contribute to groundbreaking technologies in quantum computing.
Company Description: Entropica Labs is a Singapore-based quantum computing software company creating the software layer to support fault-tolerant quantum error correction–the ability to actively remove errors from quantum computations and unlock the transformative applications of quantum computing. Entropica Labs empowers developers, researchers, and domain experts to accelerate the arrival and adoption of fault-tolerant quantum computing.
About the team: Our team at Entropica Labs combines deep expertise in quantum computing, software engineering, quantum information, and advanced error correction methodologies to build essential tools for practical quantum error correction. If you are a creative thinker and problem solver passionate about tackling complex challenges, join us to shape the future of quantum computing.
An overview of this role: This role focuses on developing software for Quantum Error Correction (QEC), including designing APIs, implementing QEC codes, and working with low-level quantum programming (QASM, QIR, CUDA-Q). You’ll contribute to the QEC codebase, ensuring high-quality, well-tested code while collaborating with researchers and engineers to translate theory into practical tools.
Success requires strong quantum mechanics and QEC knowledge, along with software development skills in Python. Experience with Git, automated testing, and remote collaboration is essential. If you’re passionate about building scalable, fault-tolerant quantum computing solutions, this role offers a unique opportunity to contribute.
Interested candidates should submit a cover letter (including personal references, if possible), a resume, and a sample of relevant research work or publications.
