Job summary

A construction company in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage bidding information, prepare bills of quantity, and ensure quality compliance throughout projects. The ideal candidate will have at least a diploma in Quantity Surveying and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the Singapore construction sector. The role includes verification of subcontractors' claims and preparation of progress reports. This position requires proficiency in MS Office and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Responsible for bidding information collection work.
• Prepare all bill of quantity for the whole project and vendor report.
• Prepare monthly progress report and progress claim to Consultant.
• Call for supplier/subcontractor quotation and compare with tender details.
• Verify subcontractors’ claims and prepare interim payment certificate.
• Responsible for quality compliance with specifications.
• Check all new drawings for variations.
• Organize subcontract pricing and negotiations.
• Compile bidding quotations for review.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the bidding information collection work

• Prepare all bill of quantity for the whole project and vendor report

• Prepare monthly progress report and progress claim to Consultant

• Call for supplier/subcontractor quotation and compare with tender details

• Verify subcontractors’ and suppliers’ claim and prepare interim payment certificate

• Responsible for the quality/accordance to the specification of the works

• Check all new drawings for variations works

• Responsible for collecting, sorting and checking of bidding calculation of quantities

• Organize subcontract price and negotiations

• Compile bidding quotations and submit to department manager to review

• Perform all other duties or tasks as assigned by immediate superiors.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.

• Minimum 3 years relevant experience in Singapore construction, preferably with PUB.

• Proficient in MS Office.

• Experience in Pipeline services.

• Able to work independently with minimum guidance and under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
