A leading aerospace manufacturer in Singapore is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to manage the Quality Management System and uphold aerospace standards. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of QA experience in an aerospace OEM environment, with strong knowledge of ISO9001 and AS9100. Job description
Quality Assurance Specialist – Aerospace Manufacturing

Detail‑oriented and results‑driven QA professional to uphold the highest standards in aerospace manufacturing. In this role, you’ll manage the Quality Management System, lead audits (ISO9001, AS9100, NADCAP), and drive continuous improvement to reduce the cost of poor quality. You’ll collaborate across teams and with customers to resolve non‑conformance issues, prepare First Article submissions, and ensure compliance with global aviation standards.

Core Responsibilities
  • Perform quality assurance functions with regard to product and process and maintain the quality management system while ensuring compliance with all related government agencies, aviation authorities and customers’ requirements and regulations.
  • Manage the Quality Management System.
  • Review and revise quality procedures and quality manual.
  • Liaise with customers, vendors and suppliers on non‑conformance activities, investigate root cause and determine effective corrective actions to eliminate the cost of poor quality.
  • Perform internal and external vendor audits to evaluate quality system, products and processes (ISO9001 / AS9100 / NADCAP).
  • Liaise closely with internal functions to prepare for First Article submission following AS13100 requirements.
  • Attend and review Material Review Board to drive down monthly cost of poor quality / scrap.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years’ QA experience in aerospace OEM environment.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO9001, AS9100 and AS13100.
  • Skilled in problem‑solving tools (FMEA, 5‑Whys) and interpreting technical drawings.
  • Analytical, meticulous, and proactive mindset.
  • Familiarity with NADCAP processes including FPI, heat treatment, non‑conventional machining, shot‑peening and chemical processing would be an advantage.
