Job summary

A manufacturing solutions provider in Singapore is seeking a candidate to assist with product quality analysis and support Quality Engineers. The ideal applicant will hold a Diploma in Engineering and possess at least 3 years of relevant experience in the industry. Key responsibilities include analyzing returned products, coordinating technical analysis, and driving quality improvement processes.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of similar experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Prior knowledge in SMT / PCBA assembly / Bulk Capacitor manufacturing process is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist with sample analysis of returned products from customers.
• Co-ordinate technical analysis by cross-functional team and communicate to customers.
• Support Quality Engineers in new product launch and sustaining manufacturing lines.
• Analyze and monitor key performance indicators.
• Prepare “First Time Quality” reports and scrap reports.
• Drive and communicate CAPA for 8D reports.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Assist with sample analysis of returned products from customers, to apply problem solving skills to identify causes of field failure and customer dissatisfaction
• Co-ordinate technical analysis by cross-functional team and communicate to customers
• Support Quality Engineers in new product launch and sustaining manufacturing lines.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve operational quality issues, SPC trends
• Analyze and monitor key performance indicators, suggest improvements, and escalate to upper management when necessary
• Prepare “First Time Quality” reports and scrap reports
• Drive and communicate CAPA for 8D reports for internal and external
• Assist in Quality Improvement projects
• Assist in “Production Part Approval Process” submission
• Assist in Quality planning and development
• Assist in Internal and External audit

Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering
• At least 3 years of similar experience in the manufacturing industry problem-solving skills
• Prior knowledge in SMT / PCBA assembly / Bulk Capacitor manufacturing process is an added advantage
• Good team player
