The position

Quality Assurance is responsible for managing quality assurance and establishing, monitoring and maintaining a quality control system in order to ensure quality and reliability business processes across the entire company, minimizing risks and complying with laws and regulations. You will manage and ensure compliance with quality assurance policies, procedures, programs and initiatives and maintain a quality control system for the designated legal entity in order to assure quality and reliability and minimize risk within all business processes.

Main Responsibilities

• To improvise and implement the quality objectives, policies, procedures and programs for the legal entity in compliance with overall companies’ quality systems, policies and objectives and local laws and regulations.
• Manage and maintain a quality control system, ensuring quality documentation, management of content, records, forms and work instructions in an accurate manner.
• Conduct measurement and quality assessment to analyze critical processes, production and product performance.
• Ensure that products and services meet customer needs and expectations to fulfill corporate quality objectives.
• Participates in validating all company products ensuring quality and reliability.
• Ensure quality of incoming goods, determine quality requirements for suppliers.
• Identify areas where process, product or service quality requires corrective action and when necessary, implement corrective action plans and monitor the effectiveness of the solutions.
• Provides managerial leadership of the department and to secure a competent, qualitative and quantitative workforce within the function.
• Make sure that the Health & Safety policies and procedures are properly executed in the daily operations.
• Conduct internal audit, management review as required in accordance with ISO requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering, electrical or mechanical, completed with a degree in quality management. Other degrees could be considered.
• Professional certificates must have QMS internal auditor certificate.
• 2-3 years of quality management experience within a related industry.
• Good knowledge of quality management methods and tools such as TQM, QMS, EMS etc.
• Proven strong problem-solving ability with attention to root cause.
• Computer literacy ideally with SAP experience.
