Job summary

A leading food manufacturing company is seeking a QC Executive based in Singapore. The role involves conducting quality checks on finished goods, maintaining quality records, and planning GMP training. Applicants should have a Diploma in Food Science and at least 1-2 years of experience, alongside knowledge of ISO standards. Good communication skills and teamwork are essential. This position welcomes candidates with no prior experience as well.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Food Science and Technology, Chemistry, Nutrition, Microbiology, or equivalent.
• Preferably 1-2 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of ISO 22000 & ISO 9001 requirements.

Job Scope:

• Conduct sampling of finished goods and inspect raw materials/packaging.
• Prepare weight checker dummies for process lines.
• Maintain and update QC master lists, records, and calibration status.
• Report defective items and request Corrective Action Reports (CAR).
• Evaluate raw materials and manage supplier self-audit questionnaires.
• Plan and conduct GMP and food safety training.
• Maintain and verify Halal Certificates with MUIS (Singapore).
• Conduct internal audits and quality checks
• Verify new artwork and oversee 1st print checks.
• Perform other assigned ad-hoc duties

Requirements:

• Min. Diploma in Food Science and Technology, Chemistry, Nutrition, Microbiology, Chemical Process Technology, or an equivalent field.
• Preferably a minimum of 1-2 years of related field experience.
• Knowledge of ISO 22000 & ISO 9001 requirements, including internal audit knowledge.
• Familiarity with Halal / MUIS requirements is preferred.
• Good integrity and personality.
• Good communication skills with the ability to work independently.
• Pleasant personality and willingness to work as part of a team.
