Job description
JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
  • Monitoring and implementation of the Quality Management System; e.g. Project Quality Plan, procedure(s), etc.
  • Knowledge in ISO9001:2015 and Auditing
  • Ensure that adequate equipment and facilities are provided for verification of product quality.
  • Ensure that all controlled documents are administered effectively.
  • Quality control of sub-contractors.
  • Liaising with the Client inspector/Authorized inspector to ensure the project requirement is fully achieved throughout the project.
  • Coordinate with sub-contractor/vendor to resolve quality issues and follow up for corrective actions.
  • Carry out verification of purchased products in the vendor's premises as specified in contracts.
  • Supervise and manage the steel welding procedure and ensure the welding quality.
  • Ensure identification and traceability of incoming, in-process finished products.
  • Stipulate and control adequate criteria for workmanship.
  • Monitoring of all Inspection Records, Material Test Reports, and Mill Certificates.
  • Ensure that all inspections, tests, and identifications are carried out according to the quality plan or documented procedures.
  • Quality check for architectural finishing such as plastering, brick wall and etc.
  • Ensure that all nonconforming materials and products are adequately controlled.
  • Investigate the cause of the nonconforming products and the corrective action needed to prevent recurrence.
  • Ensure that all quality reports and customers' complaints are analyzed with adequate corrective actions taken.
  • Ensure that quality records are properly stored and maintained.
  • Define quality requirement for service and installation of products.
  • Maintain adequate statistical techniques to control product and process quality.
  • Check the BCA-approved drawing and study for the feasible work for site.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Diploma/Degree in QA/QC Engineering, or a Construction-related field.
  • Minimum 5 years QA/QC experience in the local construction industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of quality management principles and experience with implementing QMS.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and QA/QC documentation tools.
  • Candidates with Marine Project experience preferred
