Job summary

A construction firm in Singapore is looking for a QA/QC Engineer to ensure that all construction materials meet specific quality standards through inspections and testing. The successful candidate will manage extensive documentation and collaborate with project teams to resolve issues and ensure compliance with safety codes. A Qualified Certificate in Welding Inspection (AWS-CWI) or CSWIP 3.1 is required, along with a diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant field.

• 5.5 Days Work schedule.

Job description

QA/QC Engineer

• To ensures that all construction materials and processes meetspecific project quality standards through testing, inspections, anddocumentation accordingly.
• Performing keep and maintain detailed proper track record includingheat number of all material receive, material testing , material inspection , material transfer and compliance certifications.
• Able to work various teams to identify and correct issues,review specifications, and maintain compliance with safety and building codesto guarantee the final product's quality and safety.
• Identifying , documenting, and working to resolve anynon-conformances or problems that arise during construction
• Collaborating with site engineer and supervisors to ensurequality is maintained across all activities
• Conduct stage-wise inspections like material/fit up/visual/bolt
• Prepares Welding Procedure Specification follow as standard .

• To manage the extensive documentation associated with a construction project.
• To conduct company welder certificate are qualified
• Strong understanding construction drawing, material and method
• Proficiency in quality control inspection techniques.
• Assign ad hoc job from Project Director/Project Manager

Requirements

• MUST Qualified Certificate Welding Inspection (AWS-CWI) or CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector
• Diploma /Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant construction field or equivalent work experience
• To assist documentation prepare necessary
• Assist to processing the inspection, follow up and ensure project quality record to evaluate the adequacy of the structural steel fabrication controls
