Role Overview
As a QA Manager, you will lead the end-to-end execution of quality assurance for software products developed for a key strategic initiative at Prudential. Reporting to the Tech Product Manager, you will collaborate with business units and IT teams to deliver cutting‑edge technology that enables Prudential Singapore’s digital capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement QA strategy, standards, and best practices aligned with business objectives.
- Estimate, plan, prioritize, and coordinate testing activities for the project team.
- Liaise with various internal and external teams to understand system requirements and identify the scope for UAT.
- Oversee end-to-end testing across all impacted systems and processes.
- Ensure timely availability of test environments and test data.
- Manage internal QA team and vendors for both manual and automated testing.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards (e.g., MAS, PDPA).
- Track and report QA metrics: defect density, test coverage, pass/fail rates, release readiness.
- Stay current with emerging QA tools, technologies, and strategies.

Technical Skills
- Good knowledge of QA methodologies, tools and processes.
- Experience in writing clear and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Experience with automation frameworks and CI/CD integration.
- Familiarity with compliance and security testing.
- Experience in 1 or more of the following technologies:
- Functional Testing: HP UFT, Selenium, Appium, Cucumber.
- Load/Performance Testing: JMeter, LoadRunner.
- Possess good knowledge of SQL and automation scripting.
Experience
- At least 10 years of working experience in software development quality assurance with at least 3 years of working experience in Life & Health Insurance industry.
- Experience working in both the Agile software development and Waterfall software development process.
- Vendor management and team leadership experience.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
