• Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturer (Electrical Power Distribution, Control and Automation Systems)
• Position Title: QA Engineer / Assistant QA Engineer
• Working Location: Tuas Crescent (Transportation Provided)
• Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8.15am – 5.45pm
• Salary Package: Basic + AWS + Variable Bonus
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming and outgoing parts according to specifications and procedures.
• Accurately record and manage quality data.
• Identify and report quality issues to management for corrective action.
• Segregate non-conforming products to avoid mix-ups before final decisions are made.
• Approve or reject parts based on quality standards.
• Conduct routine tests and checks on switchboards manufactured in-house.
• Test and commission switchboards on-site or on vessels, ensuring customer satisfaction and handling any quality complaints or warranty issues.
• Manage official tests requiring the presence of surveyors, consultants, or customers.
• Assist the QA Manager in achieving quality goals and responsibilities.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the QA Department.
• Strictly follow safety protocols for all activities.
• Ensure inspection tools are calibrated and functional.
• Proactively prevent product non-conformity.
• Recommend, implement, and check the effectiveness of solutions for identified problems.
• Oversee the resolution process for non-conforming products.
• Adhere to Quality Management System procedures to maintain compliance and control.
• Carry out other tasks as directed by supervisors.

Qualifications

• Minimum ITE/ Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in quality control or assurance, preferably in electrical or switchboard manufacturing.
• Ability to interpret technical documents and adherence to safety and quality standards.
