Job description

We are looking for a Quality Automation Engineer (Playwright) to join one of our government clients, and your scope covers the following areas (not limited to).

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright or similar test automation frameworks.
• Lead end-to-end testing activities for complex, distributed applications.
• Define QA strategy, testing standards, and best practices for the engineering team.
• Perform debugging and root cause analysis, working closely with developers to ensure rapid issue resolution.
• Build and integrate automated test pipelines within CI/CD environments.
• Ensure test coverage, reliability, and consistency across releases.
• Communicate test results, risks, and quality metrics clearly to stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in Playwright or equivalent automation frameworks.
• Solid background in software quality assurance, test automation, and QA strategy at a senior or lead level.
• Proven hands‑on experience in end-to-end testing for complex applications.
• Proficiency in debugging, log analysis, and identifying root causes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to design scalable and maintainable automation architecture.
• If you have working experience in the government sector, it would be highly desirable.
