A leading construction company in Singapore is seeking an experienced professional to assist the project manager in managing schedules, quality, safety, and costs. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or relevant certification and at least 10 years of experience in the Singapore construction industry, particularly on HDB projects. Strong interpersonal skills, safety knowledge, and the ability to supervise workers are essential for this role. This position requires working 5.5 days per week on-site and offers an engaging work environment.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years experience in the Singapore building construction industry.
• Experience in HDB projects with Singapore A1 main contractor is preferred.
• Able to work 5.5 days per week at construction site.

Job Description

• Assist the project manager to manage the project schedule, quality, safety, cost and other project objectives.
  Responsible for routine inspection and handover. Discover and solve potential problems in real time. Coordinate and handle disputes with subcontracting.
• Supervise daily site operations, monitor sub-contractor schedules, and manage construction teams.
• Prepare and manage site operation schedules to ensure timely project delivery.
• Inspect substructure and superstructure works, including concrete, rebar, formwork, and scaffolding.
• Coordinate, supervise, and monitor project progress, manpower mobilization, material planning, and procurement.
• Ensure project schedule adherence and implement effective cost control measures.

Job Requirment:

• Diploma or other respective certificate in building construciton related field.
• At least 10 years’ experience in similar capacity in Singapore building construction industry.
• Experience in HDB project with Singapore A1 maincontractor is preferred.
• Good safety knowledge and attitude.
• Excellent team player, good interpersonal skills and a “can-do”attitude.
• Good communication skills and able to supervise and guide construction workers.
• Able to work 5.5days per week at construction site.
